Greene County district court, week ending Jan. 17

In Greene County district court a judgment was entered Jan. 14 against Esequiel Gonzalez Guzman, 43, of Perry after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of driving while license barred- habitual offender. He was sentenced to 179 days in jail; the jail time was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. Gonzalez Guzman must also pay a $625 fine with a $218.75 surcharge, $180 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees and $797.50 court costs. (Sentencing: Honorable Adria A. Kester)

A judgment was entered against Cayenne Elizabeth Keller, 22, of Jefferson after she changed her plea to guilty to a charge of driving while license revoked. She was fined $1,000 with a $350 surcharge. She must also pay $180 restitution for her court appointed attorney’s fees and $140 court costs. (Sentencing: Kester)

Christi Lee Frazier, 43, of Boone was sentenced Jan. 10 after she changed her plea to guilty to a charge of operating while intoxicated (OWI)-first offense. She was sentenced to two days in jail, or she must complete an OWI Weekend Offender program. She must also complete a course for drinking drivers. She was fined $1,250 with a $437.50 surcharge and a $10 surcharge for drug abuse resistance education (DARE). She must pay $60 restitution for her court appointed attorney’s fees and $100 court costs. (Sentencing: Kester)

Kimberly Ann Hill, 48, of Jefferson pleaded not guilty Jan. 13 to a charge of manufacture of methamphetamine. A trial date was set for March 4.

Cases were initiated in district court as follows: Frederick James Lonsdale, 40, of Jefferson, harassment-first degree; Dacoda Lee Lawrence, 23, of Scranton, domestic abuse assault-second offense; Kyle Jo Freese, 28, of Glidden, driving while license barred- habitual offender; and Kurtis Bradley Langfitt, 24, of Grand Junction, assault with intent to inflict serious injury.
